Gene C. Slaght's Obituary
Gene Carolyn (Mull) Slaght, born August 21, 1923, passed in Collinsville Alabama on Monday October 17, 2016.
Gene grew up in Dumont New Jersey, where she met her loving husband David Whiting Slaght.
Gene and her predeceased husband, David, ran a successful photography business, “Studio Royal” in Northvale New Jersey for many years before retiring together and moving to Florida.
Gene enjoyed swimming, dancing and traveling, particularly cruising. She loved and respected “Mother Nature” and enjoyed watching the birds and the trees blow in the wind.
She leaves behind two surviving sons David Dewitt Slaght of Port St Lucie FL, and Arthur Wade Slaght Sr. of Collinsville AL. Gene also leaves behind 5 grandchilren and 7 great grandchildren.
