Arthur, David and Pat: My condolences to you on the passing of your mom. Gene was really good to my dad, Joe Occhipinti the last years of his life. She was very independent, as was my dad, to the end. Know my thoughts and prayers are with you. Have a safe drive from Alabama. Will see you's on Monday.

Gene and her husband David and I met in a strange twist. I graduated High School with Artie Slaght and we became friends long before I knew the back story that his father and my mother had been classmates in Dumont High School. I stopped by their studio in Northvale on a rainy day to ask advice about weather to not to buy a Swedish Camera with a bigger film size that my Nikon 35mm. Size meant details. Gene and Dave gave me a Hasselblad to hold while Dave said he has some extra film to shoot up. The strobes went off then he said stay there and fired again and again - then I asked , you said you had a couple , he said the first ones were to relax you, School had just started - thank you so much for spending time with me.
