Ruben Goico lit a candle in memory of Wendell Adams
To my Boss and my friend Wendell Adams. It was a pleasure to work for you and get to know you these past 4 years. Hearing your war and life stories and seeing your love for our country and children was always inspiring. Sometimes you drove me a little crazy and I'm sure I did the same to you. But my New York personality as you would say could handle it. You were a good man and always a fair Boss. I always appreciated your faith in me to get the job done. Thank you for always showing kindness and concern to my children and husband. This picture is from a good memory back from 2015 when you brought in our new company security system. May you rest in peace until we meet in heaven someday.
Days like this I enjoyed, when I had the chance to talk to my friend and Marine brother, Mr. Adams. He always had time to come by and visit. I enjoyed our many conversations exchanging war stories. I don’t have many friends, I am very picky. Wendell was a person in which I made a connection right away. I’m gonna miss you. So sorry I could not be there to pay my respects.
Now, rest easy and stand your post at the Pearly Gates of Heaven.

I am so sorry to hear about Wendell. I met him in 2010 when he rented our building next door. He was such a character and never failed to make me laugh. Even though sometimes he drove me crazy with his antics, he never failed to make me smile (even if I was shaking my head). He was definitely a light in this world and will be greatly missed. I do treasure the time I got to know him and feel like he crossed my path for a reason. I shall truly miss him coming over to harass me at work and me looking to lock the door to keep him out! LOL!! Until we meet again Wendell, I shall continue to remember you with great fondness!
Kevin & Jillian - so sorry for your loss and I will pray for you during this difficult time.
Kind Regards,

I was blessed to have met Wendell in 2003. I have always admired his wisdom, creativity, life quotes, respect for mankind, positive outlook and determination. He was a dear friend that guided me through business ventures, investment strategies, setting goals, inventive ideas and most of all shared a mutual love for nature. I admired his ability to take risks, executing his dreams. Here are a few of his quotes that I will always treasure. Thank you Wendell for your devoted friendship, you will be forever missed, you were one of a kind.
Always look for better ways to do things.
Life is full of bumps in the road and no one is immune to the potholes. So, just keep the motor running and don't look in the rear view mirror.
One step at a time, keep pushing forward.
I follow my dreams . . . then do most of them.
Live life bodacious every day and enjoy the happiness while you can.
I never had the opportunity to meet and know Wendell. But from all I’ve heard from TAMNAH I felt like I knew him. TAMNAH and I cried and prayed together. God bless Wendell on this journey. Kevin, my heart and prayers and love go to you and your family and Maggie.
