Tom Heneghan passed away surrounded by his family at home in Tavares, Florida on the evening of October 26th. In 1936, Thomas Daily Heneghan was born in Chicago to his father, Thomas, an Irish immigrant, and his mother, Marguerit Read Obituary
Tom was a consummate professional and an excellent role model. I always like and admired him.
I traveled with him to Europe and to Mexico. One of my many light hearted memories of Tom occured at a restaurant in.Mexico City. We kidded him about perspiring so profusely during the meal. He literally had touble keeping it "mopped" off his face. But as always he was a good sport about it. My sincere condolences to you Gail and the entire family.

Tom worked at Cookeville TN with us during his time with Cummins/Fleetguard in HR. He was a fine leader and was well respected. Although I was just a young, new worker fresh out of high school, I do remember his kindness and being rather in awe of his professionalism.Though we are saddened by the news of his passing, it is good to hear that he traveled and enjoyed life after retirement. The family is in our prayers today. May God's comfort and peace bring smiles in the days ahead.

Tom would always tell a story about my brother Dave that would bring a good laugh and great memories of the past. One such story, Tom would go jogging at the lake and Dave wanted to go with him. Tom would be jogging at a steady pace and Dave be running past him as fast as he could sprint. A little later Tom would pass him at his steady pace and Dave was trying to catch his breath. A little later here comes Dave as fast as he could, passing Tom again, and a later there was David again out of air. I was too young to understand why anyone would run when you could just play and have fun. I will miss his stories. John Ransberger
I have been a friend of Tom and Gail’s for over 45 years. During that time I came to know Tom as a loving father and husband and a faithful friend. He and my late husband, Eric, formed a strong bond during the years they worked together. During our retirement years, the four of us enjoyed an annual fall excursion to the mountains of North Carolina. He was always ready for whatever plans we had as long as he could hear the Notre Dame football game on Saturday.
Eric and I were blessed to have enjoyed Tom’s friendship over the years and I pray that the wonderful memories and reminders of his love will be a comfort to Gail and his family.

What a wonderful man, his eyes spoke volumes..sweet, kind personality.
I was fortunate to be in a Bible study our Pastor conducted at Saint Philip Lutheran Church, and Tom was in our small group that broke off for discussion, and was happy to have him not only participate, but delighted in his knowledge and input to our group gathered.
He will be greatly missed, and I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to his wife and family! Thank you Tom, for a precious memory in that Bible study group!
