Mike and Janet, I'm sending you my best thoughts. I can think of so many memorable moments of Dennis.
Cousin Barry
Sorry to hear of Dennis' passing , our prayers are with you at this difficult time. O'Donnell and Kelly Families.
I was so sorry to hear of Dennis's passing this morning. He has been a dental patient in the office I work in for many years. Dennis was one of the funniest and sweetest men I have met. I just loved hearing his voice on the phone when he would call to make an appointment, he always gave me a hard time (but with love ). When he came in the office he always had a joke and many times we would talk about his past and his family. He will be greatly missed. Until we meet again my friend.
I have known Dennis for more than 60 years. He lived across the street from me growing up, I can vividly remember being in his parents' home when he and his wife came back to Weehawken after their discharge from the Marine Corps. I also had the pleasure of working with him as a firefighter in Weehawken. He was a great guy and I am saddened to hear of his passing! My thoughts are with his sister, Patty, his children and grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.
Condolences to Michael and Janet and the entire Cosgrove family. I have so many fond memories of Dennis and Dian over these many years. Dennis was a fellow firefighter with my husband Bob, we were his tenants in the house on 46th Street where he learned to do renovations, and we have many laughs and stories from that experience. We had a few parties, and fireman dances and remained friends over the years. Dennis was funny, sometimes outrageous, but a really good guy. He was a Weehawken guy through and through and always kept me up to date on Weehawken news. He was a diamond in the rough and he will be missed.
FOR 20 YEARS I HAVE ENJOYED DENNIS'S SENSE OF HUMOR AND HIS HELP WITH PAINTING, FIXING THINGS IN MY HOME AND COMPUTER PROBLEMS. AFTER ONE HECTIC WEEK OF HOUSHOLD PROBLEMS MY HUSBAND SUGGESTED DENNIS MAKE LIFE EASIER AND JUST MOVE IN WITH US. i WILL MISS HIM AND PRAY THAT HE RESTS IN PEACE WITH DIAN. HOPE HE CAN SAY HELLO TO MY BELOVED VINCENT.
