Rudolph John Diaz Jr.'s Obituary
Rudolph John Diaz Jr., 83 of Yalaha, FL, passed away on February 12, 2022, in Tavares, FL. He was born on December 28, 1938, in Coral Gables, FL, to his parents: Rudolph and Elaine Diaz. He retired from the United States Navy after 21 years of service, a lifetime member of the VFW in Floral City, FL, and a member of the Yalaha Community Church in Yalaha, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years: Linda Diaz; children: Sheryl (Kent) Burrows, Kenneth (Renee) Diaz, Timothy (Janeen) Diaz; 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Stepchildren: Michael (Michelle) Bird, Robert (Amy) Bird and Niccol (Matthew) Leroy. He was preceded in death by his sister: Maureen Stock. A graveside service with military honors will be held at Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish in Tavares, FL.
