Joe Haskew
Mr. Carter was my band director at Ribault Jr. High, I play the drums, mainly bass. At the end of my 8 the grade I was asked to play the tuba in the Sr. High. I have always thought of him often, the way he would make us hold a piece of paper on the black board with our noise, if it fell we would get the board of Ed. But what I remember most was how much he would STAND UP FOR HIS STUDENTS. I had lost contact of him for years, then I met Mr. Gil Conn and told me he was living in Tavares, and he had cancer, we put him on our pray list at church. I never new his family, but you had a great husband and dad. I will never forget what he meant to me. May God bless you, the family.
