Richard K. Barnes' Obituary
Richard K. Barnes, age 81, of Tavares, passed away, Friday, December 14, 2018. He was born January 1, 1937, in Waynesboro, Pa., the son of Robert W. and Ann (Sullivan) Barnes Wilson. Mr. Barnes was a veteran of the US Army and was a member of the Astatula Baptist Church. He was devoted to his family and will be greatly missed by his wife of 27 years, Annie L. (Thomas) Anderson Barnes; son, Rich (Traci) Barnes of York, PA; Daughters, Laura (Shannon) Stowe of Conway, SC.; Charlotte Winkle and Patricia Anderson both of Astatula, FL.; Brothers, R.C. of New Springfield, OH., Russ (Diane) of Columbiana, OH., Roger (Diane) of Galion, OH., Michael (Viola) of Reston, VA, Randall (Mary) of Columbiana, OH., and Jimmy (Diane) Wilson of Weirdale, FL. Grandchildren, Tiffany Winkle, Douglas Winkle, Dakota, Maddox and Kenedee Brasher; 2 great grandsons, Berkley and Westyn Allison. Also surviving are his sisters, Susan White and Sandy Smith both of Columbiana, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his son, Dickie; brothers, Robert "Bobbie" Barnes, Jr., Tommy Wilson; and a sister, Patty Walters. Visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until the 11:00 A.M at Astatula Baptist Church. A Funeral Service will follow at the church at 11:00AM. Burial will be at the Astatula Cemetery. The family requests donations be made in Richards name to the Astatula Baptist Church Building Fund.
