Peggy M. Kilgore, age 72, of Tavares, FL, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014. She was born January 20, 1942 in North Wilkesboro, NC. She is survived by husband of 30 years, Horace; daughter, Rebecca Malynowsky; son, James McKenzie, Jr.; stepdaughter, Gloria Merrill; stepson, Horace C. Kilgore, Jr. and his wife, Dawn; and four grandchildren, Justin, Ashley, Daniel and Lauren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Graveside Service will follow at 11:30AM at Tavares Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send a donation to Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Rd., Tavares, FL 32778.
