My mother Susan Stumler Bush was one Peggy's long time friend, I can't tell you how long they were friends, but I'm writing this for my mother, as we could not be there for the passing of her dear beloved friend. She was so saddened to hear the loss. She will always keep her close to her heart, and remember the beautiful times they always shared. I remember as a kid when we would drive down south to visit Peggy and her family. We will never forget you we love you and you are in our hearts forever. God has such a beautiful and loving angel now, rest in peace beautiful..
Peggy was always there with a Big Smile & open arms for all! All I can say is heavens getting one Special Angel! Sorry I couldn't make the service out on a cruise.
Love to the Family!
At SSES she would tell everyone I was her Son!!! Love You "MOM" Peggy, Thank You for making me A better person, Your Guardian Angel is by your side and watching over you! She would always have a smile for me & a hug.........With Kindness & Respect, Officer Walt............
What a wonderful women... friend, always there for everyone. Made sure all of our students had lunch (breakfast once that was started). Many times she helped me get students on field trips when their parents couldn't. She donated when we had a student or an fellow employee in need or a celebration. Horace and Peggy always had an open home and made everyone feel at ease. We so enjoyed their hospitality. Love that smile, and even as her time came close she would smile as long as she could. At this point I can't continue, but all those who knew her need no reminders from me what a great person we were blessed to call our friend.
Horace, I remember in my late twenties playing Uno with you, Peggy, and my parents. We had some good times then. So sorry to hear of your loss and will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep your faith and time will help heal the loss. Thinking of you, Marna (Young) Streetman
I was welcomed so generously into my Gator Family by Horace & Peg and Willie & Jean...that was back in 1993. I love the energy that Peg always had...she loved a good party and was a great friend. I have so many fond memories of Gator games back more than 20 years and then my kids got to enjoy them. Horace & Peg and Willie & Jean were always such wonderful hosts for pre-game tailgating and we are blessed to have had the 4 of them show us the way.
We will now proudly fly the new "Pink Pig" windsock that we found and continue to carry on the Gator Tailgating Tradition. Peggy we love you dearly and you will be missed by our family and soooooo many other close friends and family.
Love to all of you!!!
