Paul Joseph Gallant, Jr. of Tavares, FL went to be with the Lord on Monday May 22, 2017. Paul was born on May 25, 1956 in Winthrop, MA to the late Paul and Mary Gallant. Paul was an active member and Deacon of Celebration Church of Tavares, FL. He was the Executive Vice President of Communication Workers of America 3176, a proud member and a Past Exalted Ruler of the Elks Lodge of Eustis, FL Lodge number 1578, and Vice President of the Tropic Shores Condo Association. Paul was a valued employee of Centurylink for 37 years. On December 11, 1993 Paul married the love of his life Kristine (Brooks) Gallant in Eustis, FL. Paul is predeceased by his beautiful Daughter: April Camp. He is survived by his loving Wife of 23 years: Kristine Gallant of Tavares, FL; Daughters: Krista (Geoff) Ehringer of PA and Courtney Gallant of FL; Brothers: Tom (Nina) Gallant of MA and Stephen (June) Gallant of FL; Sisters: Cheryl (Ken) Stowell of FL and Susan St. Pierre of SC; And two Grandchildren: Penn and Clover Ehringer. Paul was a loving and devoted husband, father, Grampy, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by many. A visitation will be held on Monday May 29, 2017 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home, located at: 226 East Burleigh Blvd. Tavares, FL 32778. A Funeral service will follow on Tuesday May 30, 2017 at 10:00AM at Morrison United Methodist Church, located at: 1005 West Main Street, Leesburg, FL 34748. The committal service will follow directly after the funeral service at Shiloh Cemetery, Fruitland Park, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Celebration Church of Tavares, FL by mail at P.O. Box 1737, Tavares, FL 32778. Services have been entrusted to Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on the tribute wall.
