Oscar Francisco Torres Jr.'s Obituary
Oscar Fransisco Torres Jr., went to live with our Lord and savior Jesus, on July 26, 2021, at the age of 49. He was born on April 22,1972 in Washington DC to Oscar and Bertha Alcala Torres. He is survived by his wife Patricia Lissette Torres, his daughters, Veronica Lissette Perez (husband Oscar David Perez Santiz), Jasmine Alcala Vargas (husband, Jesus Daniel Vargas), and Eva Roberta Torres (fiancée Kenny Stroud), and grandson Santiago David Perez. Oscar was raised in the Apostolic faith, to which he remained faithful. In October 1997 Oscar met Patricia Quiroga at the Mark Travel Corporations, and was united in holy matrimony on January 16,1999. This union was blessed with three beautiful girls.
Oscar was an amazing, loving, caring, faithful, God fearing, husband, best friend and father. He loved his family with all his heart, there was nothing he wouldn't do to provide for and to make his family happy. He loved his work as a security officer, and as a Front Desk Clerk at the Quality Inn in Mount Dora, FL. He was a people person, he impacted many lives, always had a smile on his face, loved to joke around, and he loved souls. Because of his outgoing personality he was known by many people wherever he went. Oscar was a man after Gods heart, he was a worker for God's Kingdom, there wasn’t anyone he wouldn’t witness to. He had this boldness in him that seemed to catch everyone’s attention. As a father and a husband, he was doing everything to lead his family to God. He was loved so much, and will be greatly missed. He is and always will be in our hearts, we cherish the memories that he gave us. He desired to create wonderful memories with his wife and daughters and Jesus granted that to him. We traveled to London, Paris, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Chicago, Las Vegas. Oscar really loved to travel and experience new things, such as Top Gun Maverick stunts in the sky in a jet, horse back riding, taking a helicopter ride and flying into the Canyon. There are so many memories that will be cherished. For those who knew Oscar, as a friend, a brother in Christ, a co worker or just someone he became aquatinted with, he will be tremendously missed by all. He truly touched so many lives. He has left his wife broken hearted, and the pain won't go away ever, but Jesus will give peace to the sadness though the process may be long, but with the help of the Lord, and holding on to His hand, all is possible. May the grace and blessings of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ be with you all!
