Liz,John and I send our sincere condolences to you and your family. The love and closeness shared by your extended family is a tribute to your father and his mighty love and care for his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, spouses, relatives and friends. It was a distinct pleasure to meet your father and to talk and listen to that wise, kind man. I especially remember when he went with us (the Middleport Elementary gang) to visit our dear friend, Helen Maag, in Minersville. His infectious smile and unflappable sense of humor brightened any group of people he saw. I envision Lou and Helen exchanging a few stories as they sit together with their friends and families at the feet of our Dear Lord and Saviour. May Gob bless each one of you, and comfort you with the assurance that we will someday be reunited in a place where there will be no more suffering, no moree pain, no more tears, and no more sorrow. May the peace and strength of the Holy Spirit be with you now and forevermore. With love and friendship,Becky Zurcher##imported-begin##John and Becky Zurcher##imported-end##

Oh, Mr. Glaros....How your family loved you. The love in which they spoke of you spokein very loud volumes and pride. You will always be the "cool" guy". Even my boys saw that in you. My last memory of you was of you dancing and laughing at Drews college graduation party. You lasted longerthe college kids. I will always keep that memory of you. Thank you for being who you were and stepping up to the plate to be a great stepfather to the three who needed you. Not many men could do that. Part of who they became, was from you. Hold your head up high, for being the father, grandfather and husband that you were to them. Thank you for always making me and my family feel welcome. We will all be missing you. May God be with your family through this and untill we can dance and laugh with you again, may you rest in peace.##imported-begin##Amy Allen##imported-end##

Dear Lou, I only knew you at the end, when you were "somewhere" I couldn't go. But, I also knew you through your lovely wife - who loved you beyond words and has such great memories to share. You are in a place where you know what words you want to say and have no pain, confusion or frustration. I'll look you up when I arrive in your "better place".##imported-begin##Betty Lee##imported-end##
I met Lou through his sister, my dearest friend, Anna. Even though we were not 'officially family' I considered him a favorite uncle. His stories were wonderful and he was so funny!! My favorite thing was watching him make Anna laugh! What a special bond they had. Lou was also the best cook. I've given up trying to make Chicken Piccata because it never has been - and never will be - as good as his. I know Lou was a blessing to his family and friends. I look forward to seeing him in the future. With love, especially to you dear Anna, Pamela Holley##imported-begin##Pamela Holley##imported-end##
Man Daddy, I thought you would go on forever. You seemed indestructible. Life would knock you around and you would just get back up and fight some more. I remember in a moment of clarity, once the dementia had taken hold, you said, "I hate what is happening to me. "Then with a shrug of your shoulders you added, "Oh well, what can I do about it? Doesn't do any good to get angry." You taught us to go with the flow; to find a way around roadblocks put in your way; to laugh, laugh, laugh at life and at ourselves when either got ridiculous. To everyone you were a dad, always imparting wisdom. I know when I was young I used to roll my eyes when one of your famous lectures would come my way. But as an adult I used everything I tried to ignore as a child. You are now in a place where everyday you and all around you will be GREAT.....you won't even have to remind them....but you will. I will miss you so much.Keep whispering in my ear.##imported-begin##Binny Story##imported-end##

For me, Lou was a brilliant person! Every time I saw him his character and integrity shined so brightly that I always felt better that I had seen him.His devotion to Joy and his family was everything a person would want in a husband, father, and friend. My heart goes out to you all.Lou was one of a kind!##imported-begin##Bette Lord Hillman##imported-end##
