Lou was always a good mentor for me in many different ways. We connected on building airplanes. He was very supportive of me being a fledgling flight instructor. He shared many of his written materials with me, both about the Pietenpol and flying in general. Lou was a quiet man, but I rapidly learned that when he said something that it was worth listening to. I think that Lou will still teach the angels something about how to fly. John Weber
