I met Kent when we were both middle-school students at Caleb Junior High in Johnston, RI. We became close friends. I remember his being proud of his brother who was in the Air Force. He gave me a couple of books on flying and aircraft. We were looking forward to joining the Civil Air Patrol. He was curious , willing to learn and master many things. Missed his company when he and his family moved to Pampano Beach, FL. I am happy to learn that the rest of his life was a full and rich one!

I will always remember his. I meet Kent while he worked at KMART. He would always say hi an ask how you are doing, if its at kmart or out somewhere else. He will be miss.##imported-begin##Curtistine##imported-end##

We are so sorry to learn of Kent's passing. We offer our deepest sympathy to Thuy and the children for their loss, one which Kim and I will share.Well do I remember the days when the four of us used to go fishing from the bridge across Lake Harris (something I understand is no longer allowed), and I still recall Kent's words when he told us that Old Highway 441 was quicker, "miles and minutes faster," than New 441 for traversing Mount Dora. I think of him every time I take that route.When I was in Kmart, I always looked around for Kent. To the Winslow Family, Mr.Winslow was a great man. He was always smiling and full of life to the point where you couldn't help but smile. I used to give him a hug every time I saw him at church. He was such a sweet man and helped me get through a lot. You were truly blessed to have him as part of your family.
