Dear great grandpa,
I still remember the time when you and Kati were playing chess and I sat on your lap watching with you trying to teach me. I still don’t know how to play but want to learn to feel more connected with you. I really miss you and would do anything to hug you right now love you from now and forever.

Hi Aunt Joan,
My love and prayers go out to you, Bob, Dan, Jerry,David and Significant Others. Uncle Ken will be sorely missed. I am so vary sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man.
One of my favorite memories about you and Uncle Ken was when I was in 4th grade (don't ask how long ago that was...) and Grandma, Grandpa, Doug, Mom (Gladys), Me and you two all went to a street dance in some small town around FD. Uncle Ken taught me how to Polka! It was so much fun, and he danced with me for quite a few songs, then begged me to let him sit, rest and play cards for awhile. I remember even my dress was green with polka-dots on it! He did dance with me one more time before the band quit for the night. I still think about that every once and awhile and it always makes me smile.
My love to all of you! - Laura Sniffin
Ken was the best father-in-law that anyone could ever have. He was a loving family man, successful business man, and a heck of a card player! I know that first hand as I was his euchre partner, and we played against Bob and Joan. He sure was a good winner! He loved to rub it in extra hard if we managed to win at Euchre AND hand and foot.
I used to love to talk about college football with him, especially concerning our rival teams, the Iowa Hawkeyes and the Ohio State Buckeyes. I always cheered for Iowa except when they played Ohio State. We watched many games together over the years.
Ken was a kind, generous, fun, honest, and caring man. I was honored to have him in my life the past 25 years. I miss him terribly already, but I have many fond memories of fun times spent with him.
With much love,
Peggy
I will miss you Dad. Growing up I always assumed everyone had parents as great as mine. One of my greatest memories is you always took the time to play games with me or watching war movies together. I was truly blessed to have you for a Father. I am also glad that you got to meet Jessica and welcome her into the family. She enjoyed talking to you about your time in the army.
I love you Dad

Ken was the perfect role model as a Christian, Husband, Father and Grandfather. What a wonderful legacy!

Dear Father,
I will miss you terribly. I will always remember growing up and having a GREAT childhood. A childhood with supportive parents who helped protect me, but also let me explore life. Dad, I will not forget growing up and you NEVER missing a sporting event where I was participating. One time I especially remember is when you had a business meeting at the same time as one of my basketball games. Your simple solution was to bring your client to my game and talk business during half time. I will never forget your dedication and support.
Thank you so much for taking such great care of Mom. Having such loving parents has instilled great family values in myself and my kids. These values will trickle down for generations to come. I am so glad you got to know Judy and welcome her to the family with your great sense of humor. I love you very much Dad, and I am glad you are now reunited with your parents and brothers.
Your loving son,
Jerry John
Uncle Ken is the dearest man and the best Uncle a girl could have. Our bond started when he fell in love with my Aunt Joan. We corresponded via mail while he served our country in Germany. They brought their Volkswagon back to the States and he gave me a ride in it. They took me on vacation to MN with them and I helped take care of their small son Bobby. He taught me how to water ski. God blessed me and my husband to spend time with them two years ago. I have so many great memories with him and Aunt Joan. His passing breaks my heart but I know God has him and one can't ask for more. He will be remembered and missed greatly. Blessings, prayers and love to the family.
