Dear Rob, Joyce & Family~
No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that your Mom is now resting in the arms of our Lord and Heaven has gained another Angel to watch over us.
Our sincere condolences to you and your family.
With sympathy & love,
Jon, Maryanne, Liam & Gabe
I will always remember Joyce for her kind soft spoken words. When I became a graduate nurse in the late 1970's she was a true example of what a nurse should be. She was compassionate, caring and treated everyone with the utmost respect. Everyday when I came to work she had a story to tell about her sweet daughter Amy. Little did Joyce and I know Amy would end up marrying my brother John. Joyce always made the best pickles and pies. My husband would look forward to family gatherings because of those pickles. Joyce was loved by all that met her. She was a one of a kind true lady. Never an unkind word was spoken by her lips. She was a true example of a Christian woman. May God have mercy on her soul and may she rest in peace. We love you and you will be truely missed.

I always will remember her love for her family. She often spoke of her pride in Amy and Megan and others. When Barbara was ill, I was honored to become close to Joyce as she cared for Barbara. When we began the Angel Book project, we enjoyed giving out the books together. Rest in peace, my friend. I will miss you.
In her memory, I will make a donation to the Barbara Stout Angel Book project c/o the Educational Foundation of Lake County.
