I was just thinking about Joey and Anna a few weeks ago, wondering whatever happened to the Evans Family. I grew up around the corner from them as a child in Pine Hills. Joey was such a nice guy, it is sad how we all lose touch with each other as we become adults, we had some great times as kids, my heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Evans and Anna.
Joey was my best friend growing up.We had many adventures together. We got caught stelling ducks from the local golf course. Akthough we got caught Joey was able to keep one of ducks that he raised in his bedroom. We both joined the USMC and then we saw each other in CHRUCH on Paris Island and talked through the whole mass. Later in life he and I spent many hours playing Madden Football. I will not recount the last day of Hi school but there was a little trouble that is a story that deserves a beer. My condoloences to Mrs. Evans and Anna. Joey was like a brother and I miss him.
