I came to know Joe as I worked with Phil and Joe whenever I came to Gainesville from the Lake City VAMC. Joe was very helpful and took his job seriously. I'm so very sad for the family's loss. I still can’t believe that Joe is gone… one minute you’re talking with him via e-mail or by phone and the next he’s gone. Life is so uncertain. Always need to cherish each and every moment. I worked with Joe during part of the duration I worked in the Safety department at Gainesville VAMC from March 2006 - June 2008. Joe was such a good guy. "He never met a stranger". He was always cooperative, dependable, & humorous. Joe was a vital member of the Safety Staff…he always appeared upbeat & always met the challenges of the day. His non presence in life is certainly missed… Joe’s family - you all are in my thoughts & prayers… God has more important plans for Joe in Heaven than here on Earth.May God Bless You in this Time of Need & Sorrow.
