John W. Hickman's Obituary
John W. Hickman of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida passed away on Monday, January, 27, 2014 at the age of 68 years. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late William and Edith Hickman. John served in the Army Reserves as a young man. He worked for many years as a detective in Greenfield, WI. Later, he and his wife, Arlette, became owner/operators in the restaurant business for 15 years in Necedah, WI. In 1997 they decided to relocate to Howey-in-the-Hills from Necedah. After arriving in Florida, John went back to work at Blount Honda in Leesburg. When he was able, he enjoyed playing Golf in his free time. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Arlette; brother, Howard Hickman and his wife, Patricia and their daughter, niece, Jenny (Kyle) Johnson, all of Loudon, TN; brother, Darryl Hickman and his wife, Laura of Milwaukee, WI and their daughters, niece, Lisa (Casey) Post and their children, great niece and nephew, Olivia and Everett, all of San Diego, CA; and niece, Colleen Hickman of Colorado; mother-in-law, Irene Januszewski of Howey-in-the-Hills and brother-in-law, Raymond (Kathy) Januszewski of Grand Island, FL. Friends are invited to gather on Wednesday, February 5 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm with a memorial ceremony staring at 3:00 pm, all in the funeral home chapel. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
