Uncle Jack, A dear man, uncle, father, husband and friend. What a life you lived. You are a patriot, very proud to serve your country and fellowmen. You will be sadly missed by all of your family. You were such a loving family man and gave all that you could. We will never forget yours and Aunt Leen's kindness and generosity in helping our family after we lost our Dad. Your support to our family was so valuable and it just goes to show how much "family" meant to you. You also brought Dad and Uncle Dick to live with you and Aunt Leen when they were just young men in a foster home in Parmadale, Ohio in high school, so they would have a real home to come home to. They would tell you many times, Thank You in appreciation. The countless hours you spent helping to support a student nurse so she could pursue her dream of working with the sick and giving her the financial backing made it possible for many. It was such a pleasure being with you in Washington D.C. at the P.T. Boaters Convention with such a proud veteran and viewing the WWII Memorial with you.I will never forget your comment you made to me on that day, "It is too bad that so many of the WWII Veterans that have served are now gone and will never see this." I could tell the look in your eyes, you were pleased to have something so powerful and meaningful to remember our proud soldiers by.To John, and George and your many PT Boaters in Florida and all around the Country, thank you for being there for our Uncle Jack. May you now rest in peace, and yes Uncle Jack, you are finally home with Aunt Leen.Love you,Bruce, Tami, Collin and Lauren LamotheSutton, Massachussets##imported-begin##Tami Lamothe##imported-end##
