Joyce Axelson-Lorch
Dear Beautiful Karen,
I believe Iris lives on in whatever form we take in this journey of life. While I can no longer see Iris in person, I see her a lot in all the photos in my mind's memory bank. Her smile was infectious, her energy role modeled how it is attitude that is our best frined as we age, well I need to say, positive attitude...
Iris's graciousness is something I hope for in my own life. While I only knew Iris for a short period of time through our TAI CHI class, she left a mark on my heart center, and in my mind. On days I just thought 'why am I doing this thing called Tai Chi, there would be Iris standing and learning the different positions.
I also remember her 100th birthday reception, and how Iris embraced me into the moment even though she was surrounded by many her knew her much longer than I.
And, I am forever grateful that Iris had a daughter named Karen, whom I have the deepest respect and love for..
Thank you Iris for blessing me and all whom you openly welcomed into your energy....you are missed, however, I know how to find you when I need you....Thank you again...with deep love and appreciation, Joyce Axelson...
