We have so many wonderful memories with Uncle Frank. We loved hearing him sing in the barbershop quartet with his friends. Their voices blended together so beautifully. He was so gifted right along with Eleanor's musical talents. They shared those gifts so generously all of their lives bringing happiness to so many even when their children were small. They would take them with them and visit rest homes and all sing together entertaining the residents and brightening their days. They were so generous and giving of their time. I loved it when Frank took me all around Berwick one time and showed me my family home and the family farm homesteads, and took me up a path leading to an awesome scenic lookout over the Susquehanna River where my dad used to love to go as a young man and dream about what his future holds. One time we were at an Italian restaurant with him and Eleanor to have lunch where he knew the owner. Frank asked George if he would like to go back in the kitchen and make the pizzas for our lunch. George said can we do that? Frank said "sure". They both went with the owner and put on red aprons, and went back in the kitchen and proudly made these 2 great pizzas that we had. When the pizzas were ready for the oven, Frank complimented George on how creative and neat he was about putting the toppings on and how great it looked. They tasted as good as they looked. Frank told George I think we could open our own Italian Restaurant and make pizzas together and do great! Such a fun day and memory!
With deep sympathy and much love to you all,
