We, the Clark family, lived across the street from the Grady family and thus had an opportunity to get to know Dennis over the years as we raised our families. While the Grady boys took the younger Clark boys under their wing, and Michelle kept an eye on things from her chair by the front door, it was Dennis who was either fixing something or building something. We also saw a lot of Dennis dressed in his scouting uniform spending lots of his time mentoring boys in his troupe and guiding Michael and Jonathan to become Eagle Scouts. Whether it was making sure the fireworks didn’t get out of control or building an impressive tree house for his kids, Dennis did whatever was necessary to keep the Grady family humming right along. He will be missed but his legacy will live on through the wonderful family that he and Michelle raised, and we had the pleasure of living across the street from.
