Ed was my youngest brother. He and Jerry and myself spent our childhood growing up in Plainfield Ct., a town he dearly loved. We all shared so many memories and he so liked to reminisce about the 'good old days'. We spent hour after hour reliving great times.
But what a joyful life he had: a devoted wife, Mel and his children Melissa and Ed. His family was the core of his love and in later years he doted on his grandchildren who gave him so much joy.
His indeed was a rich and full life yet his passing was much too soon.
His sense of humor will always be remembered by those who shared a day, a month or longer with him. His many friends, especially Eddie Gouyette, his closest, will attest to the shenanigans they shared when they worked at EB.
His love of sports from playing Little League, when our father was the Manager, to later managing his beloved Dodgers in Plainfield gave him a lifelong hobby of following sports of all kinds.
He enjoyed a happy childhood, a closeknit family, being a proud Husband, Father, and Grandfather --what more could any man ask for.
My brother Ed was indeed blessed and gave so much to those who were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him.
He is safe now, safe in the arms of Our Lord.
I will miss him forever.
