Dudley Skinner Robertson Jr.'s Obituary
Dudley Skinner Robertson Jr. was better known as Dr. Pete. He was born in Columbus, GA but grew up in Wakefield, VA. After graduating from High School, he attended the University of Virginia, Medical College of Virginia, and interned and had a residency at Duke Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
In 1962 he became the first pediatrician in Lake County. At that time there were 13 Doctors on the staff of Leesburg General Hospital.
He married Nancy Medlock of Winter Park, FL in 1969. They have two sons: Hill and Loc who attended Christian Home and Bible School. Hill married Diana Perez and they have three boys, Hunter, Hayden and Holten. Loc married Mark Kateli.
Dr. Pete retired in 2000 and was able to spend many relaxing years traveling and enjoying his family and house in Daytona Beach.
He has been born again and baptized in the Holy Spirit.
A gathering will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home, with a service beginning at 12:00PM. Interment will be private at Tavares Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at www.steversonhamlinhilbish.com
