I have many fond memories of traveling down to Florida (sometimes all the way from NY in the back of a pickup truck) and swimming in the in-ground pool, spotting alligators and snakes, catching lizards, playing piano, watching space shuttles launch, and squeezing fresh orange juice during the 80s and early 90s with "Grandma Rosie". She wasn't even my grandmother but she treated me like a part of the family and I'll always cherish the time spent with her in Leesburg.
Dorothy was like part of my family. I enjoyed spending holidays, birthdays, etc. with her over the past 30 years. She will be greatly missed!
Dorothy Rose was my mother-in-law. I loved her very, very much. There was many times that we had a good time and laughter, fun times of eating and ejoying each other's company and always having a good word of see you later. Love you always. I enjoyed going to the races, laugh. I enjoyed this so many times. She loved her cats. She loved going out to eat too. Buddy & I and Tommy &Dorothy would go out to eat at times too . I sure am going to miss her ❤️♥️❤️
I met Dorothy several years ago through family gatherings and her sister in law Kathy. She was really a sweet lady. She was funny and always talked about raising her blended family. I grew to love her as well. Dorothy you will be missed, Sincerely Barbara Martin
