I remember Mrs. McCune as my very pretty music teacher back about 1955 when I was in 8th Grade at Shennandoah Jr. High School in Miami. To this day I have a love of classical music which I am sure was inspired in part by Mrs. McCune. Although I haven't seen her since our Shennandoah days, I still have very strong memories of her, and how she visited our class 2 or 3 times a week to teach music to us. I am very sorry to learn of Mrs. McCune's passing. I am sure there are many hundreds or even thousands of her music students who share very fond memories of her.
