Dorothy S. Carrier's Obituary
Dorothy (Dotty) Carrier, age 80, of Tavares, passed away from a stroke Sunday, November 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the perfect wife, mother and grandmother (Dee Dee). Her greatest joys were her husband, children and grandchildren. Her excitement and love of life kept her forever young. After graduating from Rollins College, she worked in the Lake County Public School System as an elementary teacher, guidance counselor, assistant principal and principal for 22 years. Everyone loved Mrs. Carrier. She is survived by Husband, Harvey Carrier, of 63 years; Daughters: Nancy Semento (Larry), Cathie Bakich (Mike), Sharon Wallace (Dale) and Connie Frady (Greg Nelson). Grandchildren: Scotty Duncan, Sean Duncan, Rachael Bakich, Michael Bakich, Chelsea Wallace, Kyle Wallace, Jacob Frady and Hannah Frady. Per Dotty's wishes, there will be a private burial service for immediate family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
