I am sorry to hear of the loss of such an amazing woman. I had the pleasure of getting to know her during my time as an office aide during high school when she was a principal at Mount Dora. She was always so kind and caring.
We have so many fond memories of Dottie from our first meeting when she was guidance counselor at Tavares to all the silly things we did later. We feel blessed to have known her. Harvey, our thoughts are with you and the girls and the whole family.
Best regards always,

I am going to miss her so much and her smiling face. That was one thing that I always looked forward to is see and talk to her.
I am going to miss so much Dotty smiling face and her laugh. I always loved having hugs from her. The world is a little sadder with her not in it.

I have many good memories of Mrs. Carrier. She had great patience when she had a house full of teenage daughters and all of their friends at her house. Every time I saw her throughout my life, she was interested in hearing about what I was doing. Her sweet spirit will live on in her daughters. I offer my sincere condolences to all of you. Your family is dearly loved.
Dear Carrier family,
I have so many fond memories of Dottie, especially from that one great year I worked for her at Mount Dora High School. One of my favorites was her telling me the story of getting a traffic ticket at 1AM following the homecoming dance for running a red light. She told me she was going to court to fight it. I was amazed when she later told me the judge agreed that she had reason to feel her safety was compromised sitting in a car alone so late in the evening and he dismissed her ticket. She is the only person I know that could have been so convincing. Of course, it didn't hurt that she had the sweetest voice and the biggest smile that was ever present.
She was a wonderful lady and I am so sorry for your loss. Rick and I both admired her very much.
