Donald "Neil" Stephenson's Obituary
Donald “Neil” Stephenson passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at the age of 67 years. He was born in Jackson, Michigan and lived six months in Michigan and six months in Riley Park, Mount Dora, FL. Neil proudly served his country in the US Air Force in the Vietnam War. He worked 30 years as a Corrections Officer at the Michigan State Correctional Facility before retiring. He was a member of VFW Post # 8087 in Mount Dora. Neil loved to play softball and coached his son’s teams as children. He was preceded in death by his father in August of 1998, Donald P. Stephenson. Neil is remembered and will be dearly missed by his wife of 42 years, Moe; his mother, Virginia Stephenson of Riley Park and of Napoleon, Michigan; sons, Chad Stephenson and his wife, Marie of Lady Lake, FL, Doug Stephenson and his wife, Gena of Jackson, MI and Jed Stephenson and his wife, Megan, also of Jackson; grandchildren, Teriq Stephenson, Taylor Stephenson, Dustin Stephenson, Karisma Magana, Jonathon Nelson, Jayda Stephenson, Alyssa Stephenson, Zach Stephenson, Trevor Stephenson, Kailey Stephenson, Chaysten Stephenson and Chanddym Stephenson.
