Delcie Barkdoll Dent's Obituary
Delcie Barkdoll Dent, age 81, of Tavares passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014. She was born May 7, 1933 in Wauchula, FL and moved to Lake County in 1987 from Orlando. She was a graduate from Florida State University. She was a voracious reader, an avid bridge player, and enjoyed attending and hosting gatherings to bring together family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Dent of Tavares, FL; son, Daniel (Joanne Baust) Dent of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Debbie (Christopher) Catron of Bristow, VA; grandchildren, Mitch Catron, Jessica Dent, Zack Catron, and Jason Dent; niece Sabra (Andy) Barkdoll Lance; great-nephew, Stephen Lance. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 11:00AM until 12:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:00PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
