Dave was a dear friend, I rode motorcycles with him on Tuesday ,Saturday and sometimes on a weds. He was a kind soul with a dry sense of humor. I always received a phone call on my birthday, he made it special for me. He did that with all his friends. He will be deeply missed.R.I.P. my friend much love and appreciation for your friendship. I didn't know David well, but I knew him and Bette from Maryland Yacht Club, and our paths crossed several times. We always had nice conversations during the events there. I'm very sorry for your loss. Dave & Bette were very nice people.
David and I became friends in Lake Frances when he asked me to join the Finance Committee over ten years ago. We remained friends to the very end. He befriended my family; we all enjoyed dining out and David's sense of humor. Carol, Cindy and I went to Alto to have lunch with Dave, the last day he was able to get out of bed. I miss him already.

David was a mentor and friend who introduced me to PSA Financial in 1997. His good humor and friendly nature was infectious. We visited with David and Carol in Florida in 2023 and they visited us at our Delaware home in 2024. David will be missed by many and remembered fondly by all.

Our memories of David are around the many years we spent in North Caro.ina at Oak Island. Quite a few different beach houses would be rented, usually around the 4th of July. Friends would gather from Atlanta, Fayetteville, South Carolina, Fuquay-Varina, Ohio and even Oak Island for a week of Fireworks, Food (lots of food, fresh made pies), porch sitting, porch drinking and just catching up and checking on each other. We've had weddings, new babies and sad to say even a few funerals on our Island. We were able to meet David's family since they also came around the 4th. He was a great grandpa and so proud of Sarah and Ben. We'll alway remember the laughs, stoies of past years that would be shared and his smile. He had a great smile.
