Died: September 12, 2016 in Mount Dora, Florida
Dave lived in South San Francisco, CA until 1974 and graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Communications.From 1975 until 1999 Dave resided with his family in Santa Rosa, California before setting out to follow a career in Marketing in the cell phone industry; moving several times and residing in Texas, Missouri, Florida, and New Mexico. During the time he spent in Albuquerque, New Mexico he became interested in the history of the state and its culture. Eventually returning to retire there.Dave became active in, and found joy, in being a docent for the Museum of New Mexico. Dave conducted walking tours of Old Town Albuquerque and also tours of the Casa San Ysidro in Corrales, New Mexico.Dave's other love in his life, besides his daughter, were his dogs and therefore, in lieu of flowers a donation in his name may be made to: Sunflower Sanctuary Animal Rescue 25 Clauss Place Tijeras, New Mexico 87059 (a hospice for dogs).Dave is survived by his wife of 42 years, Sandra, and his daughter Diane Anderson and her husband, James.Dave will be interred in his beloved adopted state at a date yet to be determined.Arrangements have been entrusted to Steverson, Hamlin & Hilbish Funerals and Cremations, 226 E.
