David Robert Brunetti's Obituary
On Friday, May 1, 2020, David R. Brunetti, loving husband and father, passed away in Mt. Dora, Florida at the age of 60 years old.
Dave was born in Buffalo, New York on March 4, 1960. He attended the University of Central Florida for his undergraduate degree leading him to attend the medical program at the University of South Florida, Tampa. He achieved the high honor of a Medical Degree. He then completed his residency in Urology at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC.
He and his wife, Dana and two small girls, Nicole and Danielle moved to Lakeland, Florida in 1995 where he began an Urology practice. After 2 years, he decided to change practices which lead him to become a partner of Lake Urology, Leesburg, Florida where he practiced for 15 years. He was a considerate, caring and compassionate physician who was loved by all his colleagues and patients. As a big part of the medical community he will be surely missed.
His move to Mt. Dora, Florida was decided because of a love of his family and friends. He enjoyed golf, poker, music, dancing and just being the life of the party. He touched everyone he met in a special way. He will never be forgotten by the people who knew him.
Dave was an exceptional husband and father who was caring, generous, kind, loving and a wonderful provider who loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Dana, and two daughters, Nicole and Danielle. Also survived by sister, Beverly, twin brother, Daren, nieces, Holly and Alex and nephews, Clint, Mick and Max and wonderful in-laws Jimmy, Tom and Cheryl.
Unfortunately because of the current situation, no ceremony will be held. Any donations please send to the McKnight/UF Brain Institute.
