David was such a great guy. I remember meeting him when Dana first started dating him back in 1988. I liked him immediately, and he always treated me like a brother. Both of us went on to share stories about the trials and tribulations of being a doctor. Such a big loss. So sorry for Dana, Nikki and Dani.
Dear Dana and Family,
Bill and I are sending our deepest condolences to you. We still have sweet memories of travel with you and Dave to Las Vegas. What a great fun loving guy Dave was.

Dave was my first cousin and a cherished member of the Fumo family. I didn't see him often but I knew him very well. I could hear the smiles in my parents' voices whenever they spoke of him; and my Aunt Elaine delighted in his many achievements which were hard won and well deserved. Most of all, I could see the deep love he had for his wife, Dana, & his daughters, Niki & Dani; and the joy they brought him. His life may have been too short but it could not have been better lived.
Sincerely, Debbie
We grew up in the same neighborhood in Cheektowaga, NY. He was such a great guy. I remember his calm soothing personality and his talk about some day being a doctor. My prayers and thoughts to his family. May you rest in peace David in the arms of the Lord.
So sorry for the loss, my family grew up across the street from Dave on Bronx dr in Cheektowaga NY, he was a class act and even though I was 3 years younger than Dave he always looked after me like I was his younger brother. God Bless and May he RIP

Too many great memories!!! Whether fishing for snook in TenThousand islands of calling out “Release the hounds” at the craps table. Many laughs we shared. Thank you for the many great memories 😢😢
Dave and Dana were among the first we got to know when we moved here in 2000. My husband consulted with Dave professionally, as well. He and his family were sweet, generous, and kind to us newcomers. Dave was intelligent, caring and warm - a wonderful physician. We will miss him always. - The Paymanis
