So sorry for the loss of your Dan. Thinking of you and your family with love and prayers for comfort. Sarah rich
Known Dan for about 30 years and as one of his oldest employee's the sharing of his valuable knowledge was very highly prized.
First time I saw Dan he was sitting on front edge of his desk smoking in the only office of company.
Explaining what it takes to be a good businessman by "Playing the Game" treating customers honestly without cheap shortcuts.
Firearms was part of his life he shared as a gift and instruction. Funny thing I recall early on when company tiny, Dan fired a gun indoors while at work to test out-ha ha.
Of course back then Smoking was allowed indoors and even Beer after hours at work.
Anything automotive was another area where Dan knew way more than myself. Joked with him when he drove Plymouth Prowler convertible to work, if I were him, would drive to and eat at nearby Wing House for lunch every day to show off for their also "well built" girls.
Sad to loose someone before their time to smoking and only wish more would take notice of those we loose early on needlessly to stop the cycle.
Time will pass as will the pain lessen but good memories are forever- Rob Scheiderer
It was my pleasure to meet Dan some 14 plus years ago. As the leader at Hytec, what Dan has put in place and what has been carried on throughout my association with Hytec, was a work environment where he cared for all his employees and the guys that are still there today. My heartfelt thanks to the Turay family for allowing us to serve Hytec and the family along the way. For Carla and the kids and grand kids, my prayers are for you and my wish would be that God's hand give you His Peace, His Love and His Grace in these unsettled times. We will miss Dan. GOD SPEED.

I met Danny while I was in sales at Gator HD. Dan, I and others would sit out in front of the entrance on the picnic table (before they moved it) drink coffee and just chew the fat about everything and anything. We had become friends. I had learned he had a small copier repair company, that was until he took me there. Small my As_...LOL. Danny was never the one to brag nor did you realize how well off he really was. Down to earth, and he spoke to you, not over your head and was a brilliant man.
I had become "his" salesman/friend and we would joke that as soon as the new bike he just bought needed washed, it was time to trade it in, and he did!
My sincere deepest condolences to Carla and his family. I will truly miss him. Howard C Minzenberg

I am a former employee of Dan Turay I worked for him over 20 years ago. He was a great man. I was shocked to here about his passing. He had a large impact on my career. He was big hearted person and was great to talk to. R.I.P.
