Charles N. Corey's Obituary
Charles N. Corey of Eustis, Florida passed away on Thursday, January 04, 2018 at the age of 89 years. He was born in East Moline, Illinois. Charles proudly served his country in the US Army, stationed in Colorado during the Korean War. He was happily retired and moved to Florida in the late 1990’s. Charles was an avid wood carver and often went to craft shows with his carvings under the name “Cattail Creations by Corey”. He was preceded in death by his son, David Corey and his daughter, Cynthia Corey. Charles is remembered and will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Gerald and Cynthia Corey of Clawson, Michigan; two grandchildren, Jeremy Corey and Jake Corey and a sister, Thelma Lacy of Commerce Township, Michigan. His final resting place will be Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared on the tribute wall.
