I remember our summer visits in the Mountains of Northeastern PA.I remember on our arrival, kissing her on the cheek. It was so soft, and Grandpa’s was like sandpaper. I was equally fond of both.I remember how her house always felt like home, even though we were only able to visit once per year.I remember wonderful meals at the dining room table that often included fresh vegetables from her garden. She made the best baked chicken! I remember how much she loved her hot tea, and Grandpa liked his iced tea (his was so strong I think a spoon may have stood straight up in it).I remember playing “Hearts†for pennies. I remember how much she loved Columbo, Hawaii Five-O, and various other PI shows.Mostly, I remember how much she loved her family. We meant the world to her, and we ALL loved and adored her.I remember her telling me, “Cathleen, when my time comes, I hope I just fall asleep and never wake upâ€Â.I’m so glad I remembered, and I’m glad God did too.I hope I always remember her faith, because it is so inspiring!##imported-begin##Cathie Petrelli##imported-end##
