Yvonne L. Houghtby, 85 of Tavares, FL went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2017. Yvonne was born on June 08, 1932 in Holloway, MI to the late Richard and Nellie Drouillard. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Friend who will be deeply missed by many. A Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at 1:00PM with a Visitation prior from 12:00PM - 1:00PM, at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funerals and Cremations located at; 226 East Burleigh Blvd. Tavares, FL 32778.
Day is done, gone the sun,
From the lake, from the hills, from the sky;
All is well, safely rest, God is nigh.
Fading light, dims the sight,
And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright.
From afar, drawing nigh, falls the night.
Thanks and praise, for our days,
'Neath the sun, 'neath the stars, neath the sky;
As we go, this we know, God is nigh.
Sun has set, shadows come,
Time has fled, Scouts must go to their beds
Always true to the promise that they made.
While the light fades from sight,
And the stars gleaming rays softly send,
To thy hands we our souls, Lord, commend.
