Wilma Jeane Walker's Obituary
Wilma Jeane Walker, 77 of Mount Dora, FL, died at 2:20AM, Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She was born March 17, 1944 in Pikeville, NC to Cooley and Lola Joyner. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Walker.
Also surviving are her two daughters, Violet (Juan III) Morales, Angie (Danny) Keller; ten grandchildren, JohnRaymond Morales, Brandi (Phil) DiDonato, Crystal (Charlie) Delee, Temple (Kati) Meek IV, Rachel (Matt) Depew, Liesle Meek, Daniel Meek, April Meek, Lacey Ward, Danielle Ward; and 7 great grandchildren, Aiden Odle, Kaiden Odle, James Delee, Temple Meek V, Evannjalynn Meek, Luca DiDonato and Nico DiDonato.
Her one daughter, Annie (Temple III) Meek preceded her in death.
She was a 23 year employee of Tupperware’s home office in Kissimmee, FL and then retired to Mount Dora, FL.
She found great joy in her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and her entire family loved her sweet potato biscuits! She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, traveling and shopping. Shoes and purses were her favorites!
The visitation is from 12PM to 2PM on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 2PM, Friday, August 6, 2021 also at the Steverson, Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home. Pastor Cecil Brown and Temple Meek III will be officiating. The burial will be at Lakeside Memory Gardens in Eustis, FL.
