William Leonard Woebse's Obituary
On Saturday, January 30th, 2021, William Woebse, loving father and husband passed away at 54. Bill is survived by his wife Tara, his two children Cody and Kimberly, his mother and father Rose Ann and William Sr. respectively, and a sister he made known to all as Sissy.
Bill had many hobbies throughout his life. From drag racing early in life to scuba diving and photography, ham radio, fishing, wood working and boat building. He put his all into every single one, being active and a guide to others, fostering a lot a community around each hobby he touched. He was a Mason that served as Worshipful Master at Elmer O. Smith Lodge No. 307, as well as a member of the Scottish Rite. You could often find him at Disney, him and his wife’s ‘happy place’ and a site of many of the family’s celebrations.
He was known for his generosity, hospitality, and passion. He had a special brand of humor, a form of love known as ‘picking on you’ an art now carried on by his two children and practiced on their loved ones in his memory.
