William Edward Wilson 's Obituary
William E. (Bill) Wilson, 83, of Tavares, Florida passed away peacefully at home on April 5, 2016.
Bill was born on October 23, 1932 in Michigan City, Indiana, to Rube and Hazel (Heise) Wilson. On August 11, 1999, he married his beloved Pat Wilson, who survives, and moved to North Carolina. The couple wintered in Florida until 2014 when Florida became their home. Also surviving are Children: Douglas (Tammy) Wilson, Dawn (Kenny) LaRue, Lisa (Russ) Hopper, and Linda (Willy) Bies; Grandchildren: Erin, Samantha, Nick, Autumn, Will, Josh and Erik; Son-in-law: Charley Linville; 9 Great-Grandchildren; and two Brothers: Norm (Cris) Wilson and Robert (Verna) Wilson. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Bill proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired from the Budd Company. William was also a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans. A Celebration of life memorial service will be held on Saturday April 9, 2016 at 2:00PM at Steverson Hamlin and Hilbish Funeral Home, located at 226 East Burleigh Blvd. Tavares, FL 32778.
