Tracy, I'm having a hard time with this as I'm sure you are. Bill holds a special place in my heart. Having known him for over 30 years and spending 1 or 2 hours with him every 6 weeks for those 30 plus years, I can say I knew him quite well. He was kind, generous, gentle and a loyal friend.
