William T. Carter's Obituary
Mr. William T. Carter, of Tavares, FL, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at the age of 90 years. He was born in Pikeville, Kentucky and moved to this area in 1984 from Kentucky. Bill was a retired coal miner, a veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of the First Baptist Church of Tavares. He was also an avid fisherman. Bill is survived by sons, Reverend Mike Carter and his wife, Judy of Coleman, Florida, Gregg Carter and his wife, Ann of Santa Fe, New Mexico and Mark Carter and his wife, Debra of Turkey Creek, Kentucky; daughters, Patricia Coleman of Tavares and Novella Lowe of Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida; as well as 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Friends were invited to gather for viewing on Monday, March 12, 2012 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM in the funeral home chapel. A funeral ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial took place at the Mountain View Memory Gardens in Huddy, Kentucky.
