Mr. William S. Stomp Sr. 's Obituary
On December 4, 2019, Bill Stomp entered the Gates of Heaven. He was born in Chicago on November 1st, 1938. Bill has been active in his community. His favorite activity was working with the children who are part of the Guardian at Litem program. Other service organizations include the Tavares planning and zoning board, the firemen's pension board and of course the church men's bible study. The Heritage Foundation and the Republican party have also kept him busy.
He is survived by Carole his wife of 54 years, three children, Carla, Bill Jr., and David. His twelve grandchildren have been the joy of his life. Bill has three siblings, Carolyn McNally Kathy Richer and a brother Robert, and his dear friends Dwayne and Linda Rublee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the First United Methodist Church "Good Samaritan fund" that provides help to people in need.
Funeral Services for Bill are scheduled for Tuesday, December 10th, at 10:00 AM at the First Methodist Church of Tavares, 600 W. Ianthe Street, Tavares, Florida 32778. His place of rest will be at Florida National Cemetery where ceremonies will be held in private and at a later date.
