William Rodney Sleaford, Jr.'s Obituary
William Rodney Sleaford, Jr. of Eustis, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at the age of 81 years. He was born in Howell Township, Michigan. Bill proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean War as a sergeant in the bomb disposal unit. After he returned from the war, he attended and graduated from Michigan State University with a BA in business. Bill retired from retail sales and facility management. He moved to Vero Beach, FL in 1972 from East Lansing, Michigan. In 1996, he relocated to Lake County, Florida. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Taylor. He also enjoyed a good game of Golf. He is remembered and will be dearly missed by his son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Cathy Sleaford of New Smyrna Beach, FL; sister, Merib Kruger and her husband, Fred of Charlevoix, Michigan; and grandson, Taylor McCarty Sleaford of Castle Rock, Colorado.
