William Skelding, Jr., age 79, of Tavares, FL passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after on long illness on Sunday, May 31, 2020. He was born May 9, 1941 in Beloit, OH. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Smith Skelding; daughters, Mary (Tom) Park of Tavares, FL, Alice (Keith) Hines of Alliance, OH; sons, William Skelding, III of Canton, OH, Richard Skelding of Alliance, OH, Raymond (Kim) Skelding of Sebring, FL, Robert (Bonnie) Skelding of Alliance, OH; sister-in-law, who he raised, Laverne (Jimmy) Hinerman; sister, Peggy Thomas; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was proceded in death by his parents, William and Pearl Skelding; 4 brothers, Bub, Bill, Ivan and Glenn; and 2 sisters, Lucille and Mildred.
