William H. Gribben Jr.'s Obituary
William H. Gribben Jr. (Mr. Bill), 82, passed away October 25, 2022. He was born on August 22, 1940, to William and Helen (Gust) Gribben in Jersey City, New Jersey. He served in the Army in Germany as a Radio Operator for three (3) years in the United States Armed Forces with honorable service. William was also a member of The American Legion, Am Vets Post 1992, and Lake Veterans Club.
William was predeceased by his parents, William and Helen (Gust) Gribben, son William D. Gribben and brother Donald R. Gribben. He is survived by his son Paul R. Gribben (Florida), sister Faith Ann (Gribben) (Texas), long-time Significant Other Cynthia P. (Sowinski) Frank (Tavares), step- children Patricia (Frank) DeZarn (Tennessee), Edward C. Frank, Sr. (Tavares); 3 Grandchildren. Edward C. Frank. Jr. Laelle Andrews, Ian Joseph Andrews, 2 Great Grandchildren, Luke and Felix Andrews, many other nieces and nephews. William’s greatest pride and joy was his family and grandchildren who brought him much fun and happiness through the years. Beloved Forever by Family and many Friends…RIP
A committed shelter service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2022at 1:00 P.M. at Florida National Cemetery with military honors
