William Eugene East's Obituary
William Eugene East, age 93, of Eustis passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020. He was born January 13, 1927 in Perry Township, OH and moved to Lake County over 30 years ago. He was a retired linotype operator for a newspaper and worked for many years building homes. He was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy. In his spare time, he loved fishing and baseball. He is survived by his sons, William Ernest East and his wife, Yolanda of Eustis, FL, Raymond Allen East and his wife, Tina of Texas; daughter, Shirley Annette East of Ohio; grandchildren, Sacha Corrinne Spiegel, Sara Nichole East, Lona Sue East; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Siera, Joseph, Sara, Dalton, and Garret. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 2:00PM until 3:00PM at Steverson Hamlin & Hilbish Funeral Home, Tavares. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 3:00PM. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL.
